History of Clean Water Global
Our founder ran a professional painting company with a team of nine. Every week, they faced the same challenge: how to responsibly handle the paint rinse water left after cleaning brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. It was clear there were no easy or accessible solutions — and worse, no real awareness. Studies show that 3 out of 5 people still believe water-based paint can safely go down the drain. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Water-based paints may sound harmless, but they’re packed with harmful substances like heavy metals, VOCs, biocides, microplastics, and PFAS. This waste ends up in our water supply.
So that’s where we started. At Clean Water Global, we set out to give professionals — from painters to manufacturers — an easy, practical way to do the right thing. A system that prevents pollution at the source, simplifies logistics, and helps companies meet regulations without extra hassle.
From the beginning, circularity has been part of our promise. Instead of incinerating paint rinse water, we recover valuable raw materials and clean water — reducing the demand for virgin resources and lowering environmental impact. As the industry rapidly shifts from solvent-based to water-based products, our treatment units are ready to grow alongside it.

Processing
At out treatment facilities or via our on-site Mobile Units, the rinse water is purified through advanced multi-stage filtration. We remove PFAS, microplastics, and other harmful substances - returning clean water and separating out valuable materials.
Automation
& Data Collection
Every batch is monitored and analysed. You gain access to data through your digital CWG dashboard: water volumes, recovery percentages, and more. Digital disposal certificates are provide to ensure full traceability.
Valorisation of Water & Raw materials
We close the loop by recovering usable raw materials (such as binders and pigments) and turning them into valuable input streams fot other industries.
