Painter

We collect ➔ We purify ➔ You stay compliant

How does the service work?

Include a 2% recycling contribution for CWG in the quotation.

We advise painters to apply a disposal fee of 2% on their quotes to customers. When you explain to customers that it is actually illegal to pour paint rinse water down the drain and present it properly, we have already found that it is warmly received by customers.

Store paint rinse water in the empty paint bucket.

During your painting job, keep all your paint rinse water in a bucket. Also, when you want to rinse your rollers and brushes, do not do this under the tap, keep them in a bucket under water and bring them to your CWG Deposit Point.

Does it cost anything?

Yes, it's €8 per 10 liters. But there’s a smart way to handle it: add a 2% environmental fee to your customer’s quote.
In return, you’re fully compliant, professionally covered, and doing things the right way.

Plus, you receive a CWG certificate for proper disposal — a clear sign you take your work, and the environment, seriously.

Bring paint rinse water to a CWG collection point.

Finished with your painting job? Bring the buckets containing the paint rinse water to a Clean Water Global deposit point near you. There, you can use your CWG APP to drop it off, pay, and you're done. Did we mention that your certificate is automatically provided?
